<미드 프렌즈 시즌1 에피소드13 라이팅>
여태까지 문장을 변형해서 공부했는데
안 볼 것 같아서 이제는 그냥 스크립트에 있는 문장만 적어두고
진짜로 실제 사용할 수 있는 문장 몇 개만 가져가겠다
계속 듣고 말하고 Writing까지 하셔야 체화가 되는거에요!!
▶ That is it! You just barge in here, you don't knock!
→ barge in : 불쑥 들어오다
▶ He's so cute! And he seems to like you so much.
→ seem to
▶ No, I'm sorry, we're all out of those.
→ out of ~ : ~가 없는
▶ You're so funny
→ funny vs fun
▶ Oh, just seems as though that maybe you have intimacy issues. Y'know, that you use your humor as a way of keeping people at a distance
→ as though = as if : ~인 것처럼
ex) You look as though you slept badly
▶ I figure I'm better off staying with the kid than hauling my ass back and forth on the ferry.
→ be better off
ex) You're better off walking. It won't take long.
ex) I'm better off without you.
▶ You're one to talk.
→ 사돈 남말 하시네
▶ This blows!
→ 이건 말도 안돼! 엿 같다.
▶ Since you saw her boobies, I think, you're gonna have to show her your pee-pee.
→ since : ~이기 때문에
▶ Y'know, I don't see that happening.

▶ Maybe low self-esteem, maybe to compensate for overshawdowing a sibling..

▶ I mean, it's conceivable that you wanted to sabotage your marriage so that the sibling would feel less of a failure in the eyes of the parents.

▶ How long would you say Chandler's been in the shower?
→ How long S V ?
▶ You were supposed to be in there so I could see your thing!
→ be suppose to : 너는 ~했어야 해 (상태)
▶ Ever since that poodle-stuffer came along, he's been so ashamed of himself that he's been more attentive, he's been more loving..
→ ashamed of - 도덕적으로 부끄러운 ↔ embarresed - 창피한
▶ Yeah, you're ten times prettier than she is.
→ N times - 몇 배
ex) This one is three times bigger than that one.
▶ ..she's gonna keep pretending she doesn't know even though she does.
